2022 October 6 Road End of Day Update

We followed up this evening and was able to receive an update.  The construction crew has misrepresented what they accomplished and when they can complete the work.  Judging what is done today, Friday will be another full day of compacting and prepping.  They have also elected to work on another site Saturday and will see if they can fit us in next week.

Revised but unconfirmed Plans for Friday:

  • Continue prepping the roads

Revised but unconfirmed Plans for Monday October 10:

  • Pave the roads

Revised but unconfirmed Plans for Tuesday October 11:

  • Pave the roads

Revised but unconfirmed Plans for Wednesday October 12:

  • Let the roads cure

Best case scenario is they work on Monday and Tuesday.  We are open again Thursday morning in time for the trash pick up.

Realistically they may not be done until Thursday or Friday next week.  Why?  Because as soon as it rains, they cannot work.  If the roads are wet, they cannot pave.  We are supposed to be getting rain over the next week on and off.

We will continue to monitor and speak with the site manager, Ken, multiple times a day Monday through Saturday.

This is weather permitting and barring any machine failure or worker issue.  If you have any additional concerns, please click on – Log a question or concern.  Emails to the board may or may not get to us.  We have been seeing an increasing amount of emails going to Spam.

Reminder: We are asking co-owners not to stop Nagle workers or our site manager – Ken Cousino to ask questions.  Ken bills the association by the hour for all questions asked.  We are doing our best to consolidate all questions to ask him at once to keep our overall costs down.

We understand co-owners are frustrated and questioning the workers and perhaps Ken.  The constructor workers as well as Ken will be happy to answer your questions because it increases their hours and billing.  They will also note down who you are so that when they bill us for additional hours, the Board will be able to send the bill directly to you.  The association will not cover the additional hours incurred by individual co-owners. They charge by the hour.

Services Interruption Reminders

Mail Services went on hold starting yesterday Wednesday October 5 and last through tomorrow Friday October 7

    • The plan is for mail to be redelivered on Saturday
    • With the revised and unconfirmed dates, we are not sure what will happen
    • If you want your mail earlier, you can go and pick it up at the Liberty Post office
  • Delivery service
    • Barriers to the entrances are up.
    • This is to prevent anyone from driving on our roads.
  • Emergency Vehicles
    • If they need to come through, they will but it may be delayed.

Weekend Entrances

  • Target to have Rodeo Entrance at Bridle Pass open to allow people to go in and out
  • Target to have the opening at Santa Fe to Fox Glen open to allow people to go in and out
  • Ellsworth entrance will be CLOSED to discourage drive through traffic

  1. I see they are here today (Oct 8) working at the Ellsworth intersection. Are they going to be working here today after all? – Paving? I moved my car back to my garage until Sunday based on no work until at least Monday. Just wondering . . .
