Fox Glen is located at the northeast corner of Lohr and Ellsworth roads in Pittsfield Township, just south of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Residents have an Ann Arbor mailing address and are in the Ann Arbor school district.
We are a site condominium with 53 homes on 17 acres. We maintain frontage along Lohr and Ellsworth roads and have three private interior roads with curbs and sidewalks, as well as more than 250 beautiful deciduous and evergreen trees. There are two wetlands complexes with woodland buffers that traverse the property, one of which contains a hidden natural pond. The wetlands areas support a wildlife habitat (especially songbirds) that also offers valuable ecological services, including urban heat island mitigation and stormwater storage. Ducks and geese can be heard often and there have even been reported sightings of a fox.
Residents enjoy the benefits of their own home (no shared walls) and proximity to the amenities of Ann Arbor (the University of Michigan campus is less than 5 miles away). Convenient shopping opportunities are provided by Meijer, Target and Costco stores all within about a mile, and Briarwood Mall is just 2 miles away.
Fox Glen was completed in 2002, so the homes are of modern design and internal layout and meet modern code requirements. Owners are responsible for their unit, including all exterior walls, siding, roofs, decks, and driveways. The Association contracts with a private firm to provide trash and recycling collection. In addition, the Association provides services for the common elements – irrigation, lawn, and landscaping services during Michigan’s beautiful spring, summer, and autumn seasons, and snow / ice removal during the too-long Michigan winter.
