County Clean-Up Days

County Clean-Up Days are events where Washtenaw County residents can recycle and dispose of many household items including electronics, household hazardous waste, bulky waste, appliances, and scrap tires. There are typically five events each year held in different locations spread out around Washtenaw County. Washtenaw County residents may attend any of the events.  The one closest to us will be Pittsfield Township on July 27th and is being held at Saline High School.  You must register to be able to drop things off.  For more information, including a list of acceptable items and a link to sign up, you can go here:  https://www.washtenaw.org/cleanup  There is a $15 suggested donation.

There is a separate electronics recycling event happening this Saturday, June 11th from 10-1pm.  The AIM ECycling truck will accept donations at St. Francis in front of the school (near corner of East Stadium Blvd. and St. Francis Ave.) If it plugs in or runs on batteries, AIM ECycling can recycle it! They also accept VCR tapes, audio tapes, DVDs, CDs, chargers/cords/cables/wires, video games, car batteries, phones, office equipment, metals and metal fixtures, power tools, etc.  They will not take CRT glass monitors & glass TV’s and No light bulbs
