On Monday July 17, 2023 – Nagle will be coming in to start working on our final phase of our road paving project. Our construction project manager from ETC just called us this morning to let us know last minute they have a slot to fit us in.
What does this mean for us?
- All co-owners on Santa Fe should make arrangements to park on either Rodeo Dr or in one of the guest parking on Fox Glen or Bridle Pass
- The barriers is scheduled to go up on Monday July 17 to close off Santa Fe from both Fox Glen and Rodeo
Timeline
Current timeline is to complete the milling, leveling, and repaving from Monday July 17 through Sunday July 23. This is weather and personnel permitting. Last year they projected 1 week job which took months.
- Monday/Tuesday, July 17/18 – removal of the old/milling
- Wednesday July 19 – Leveling and quality check
- Thursday July 20 – paving the initial layer
- Friday July 21 – paving the final layer
We leave the road to “cure” for 48 hours. We want to avoid driving on the road after it has been paved to ensure a longer lasting road. This is why we are advising to not drive on it through Sunday if all the work goes as planned.
As with last time, rubbish and recycling will be impacted as those trucks definitely should not be driving on our road. Deliveries from Amazon, UPS, Fedex, etc can be impacted. The recommendation is for each co-owner to hold the mail by contacting the USPS directly. There is a slight chance the different delivery services will park at the edge of the barrier and walk to your house. We recommend against thinking this will happen.
Lastly, if there is an emergency, emergency vehicles will be allowed through. We will need to accept the consequences of this possibility. We are not going to prioritize roads over a life. We will need to accept that this could mean a more costly road project if work has to be redone or we have damage done due to the stage of the road project.

Is it possible to have our trash and recycle picked up on Rodeo Drive while the road is being redone?
Hi Colleen, this is a good question! If you could create a work order request through our web – https://foxglenassociation.org/maintenance/
We’ll have our property manager follow up with our Waste Management Company.
