2023 Road Paving Update Friday July 21

Due to the rain and hail yesterday, they were not able to work on the roads to finish off our paving.  The good news is that the road has been leveled and it is was quality checked by our ETC site manager.  They have confirmed for a Monday July 24, 2023 target to pave both the bottom and top layer since it is a small area.

What this means for you

  • Stay off the gravel as any driving on it will damage the leveling they have completed.
  • Once the roads are paved, we stay off of it for 48 hours

Extra caution advised

The hotter the weather, the longer we need to leave it to cure.  The cooler the weather, the shorter it takes.  The risk of driving on the roads before it is fully cured are ruts and damage to the road.

We will request to have the barriers up for at least 48 hours to keep drive through traffic out.  Specifically Valley Ranch is a potential problem.  We rely on the co-owners living on Santa Fe to keep a watch on the road and help keep people off until the roads are done.

If all goes well, Santa Fe will be completed by the end of next week, July 28.
