2022 October 3-7 Road Construction Reminder

This is to remind you that this October 2022 we will have two roads replaced –Bridle Pass and Fox Glen Drive.  An email was sent out last Thursday the 29th.  Mailings were sent out Friday the 30th.

We are doing this to maintain the roads, which are common elements of Fox Glen.  The work was recommended in our Reserve Studies and by our civil engineer.

The Board awarded the contract to Nagle Paving who is a new vendor to us.  Their bid allows us to keep the same material costs locked in to complete all three roads in the years 2022 and 2023.

Who will be affected and how?

This project will affect all of Fox Glen Association.  This will be a 5-day duration project according to ETC, our site management company.  Two days to remove the existing road and prep the roads.  The 3rd day is to lay down the new roads which will require a 4th day for us to stay off the roads.  After the roads are removed, we can still drive on the road.  When the road has been repaved, we need to stay off of it for at least 24 hours.  This means owners on Fox Glen and Bridle Pass will not have access to their driveway.

Options might be:

  1. Use Rodeo Drive (if convenient),
  2. Park in the guest parking on Santa Fe
  3. or to arrange with a neighbor on Santa Fe to use their driveway.

When will the work happen?

ETC just notified us on Thursday, September 29, 2022 that Nagle will show up on Monday, October 3, 2022 weather permitting.  If it rains this weekend or on Monday, Nagle will let us know the revised date.  For the first two days of the road work, we can still use the roads.

Future communications:

We’ll email any significant updates to all co-owners including, as mentioned above when the actual work is scheduled to start.

If you have any questions, please submit a question through our form – log a concern or question.

Sincerely,
The Fox Glen Board
