For 2021 growing season, as noted in our Fox Glen meeting minutes, we are working on creating a consistent look for the association responsible front yard trees. For a quick determination if the tree responsibility is owner or association, the rule of thumb is if it is in a modification border or not. Most of the trees in the front yard are association responsibility.
The first phase of our project was to determine the health of our trees and the mulch ring size. This was completed several weeks ago. The second phase was to ensure the health of our trees by ensuring our tree flares are allowed to “breathe” and that any roots tangling the tree flare are removed. Guardian completed this last week.
The next and last phase will be the mulch rings. Garrett Landscaping will be mulching our trees Monday the 17th and 18th, weather permitting. For more information on mulching, please see the attached document provided to us by Guardian.
